These terms describe use of the TrackNotes web application at tracknotes.win. Read them together with the Privacy policy and any purchase details shown before payment.
TrackNotes support
For account, privacy, billing, or refund questions, contact TrackNotes support at [email protected].
Using TrackNotes
TrackNotes is a motorsports logbook for recording vehicles, setup, events, and results. Google sign-in creates or opens your account. The application uses the Google identity to restrict access to your saved logbook.
Before a new account is created, you must agree to these Terms of service. TrackNotes records the accepted Terms version and timestamp. The Privacy policy explains the processing used to provide the service; Terms agreement does not enroll you in marketing.
Use the service only where permitted by applicable law and your Google account's requirements. Protect access to your Google account, use your own identity, and sign out of TrackNotes on shared devices.
Recorded information and account features
You enter and manage your logbook information. Calculations and comparisons depend on those records. Standard and Premium memberships have different limits and features; the membership page describes the available options. When enabled, paid memberships use Stripe checkout and its customer portal.
Acceptable use and your content
Enter only information you are entitled to use and store. Do not upload unlawful material, misuse another person's information, attempt to access another account, bypass access or membership controls, or interfere with the service.
Your entries are processed and stored to provide logbook, comparison, export, and account features. Entering content does not transfer ownership of it to TrackNotes. Keep your own copies of information you need to preserve.
Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
When paid membership is available, Premium is offered at $4.99 USD per year and renews annually until canceled. Applicable taxes and local currency pricing are shown at checkout. Review the amount and recurring payment details before confirming a purchase.
Use membership settings and its Manage subscription option to open Stripe's customer portal and cancel renewal. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the paid period leaves Premium active through the paid date shown in your account. Confirm the cancellation status in subscription management.
TrackNotes reviews Premium refund requests case by case under its Refund policy. Contact [email protected] for a request or payment question. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe. Canceling renewal does not itself issue a refund, and requesting a refund does not cancel renewal. These terms do not remove mandatory refund or cancellation rights.
If Premium ends, existing records remain available to view, edit, and delete, subject to account deletion and inactivity cleanup. New additions must fit your current membership limits.
Account access and closure
You can stop using TrackNotes, sign out, or delete your account through account settings. Deletion requires verification with the same Google identity and also attempts to close active billing. If billing cannot be closed, the application keeps the account so deletion can be retried.
If you cannot sign in or complete deletion, use the support route on the public privacy requests and data deletion page. Personal-information requests through support do not require Premium membership.
Access may be unavailable if Google authentication fails, the account is locked, or the service is interrupted. Standard accounts may be removed through inactivity cleanup as described in the Privacy policy. Signing out or ceasing to use the site does not cancel a paid subscription; manage renewal separately.
Deletion and your backups
Completed account deletion is permanent, and the deleted application records cannot be recovered through TrackNotes. Inactivity cleanup is enabled in production. Back up information you want to keep before deleting your account and maintain your own copies of important records.
You are responsible for your own backups. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TrackNotes is not responsible for creating, maintaining, or restoring backups of your data. This does not limit responsibilities or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability, accuracy, and motorsports decisions
Service availability can be affected by maintenance, network conditions, and third-party services. Saved records and calculated results depend on the information entered and may contain errors. Check important results against your original records.
TrackNotes is a recordkeeping tool. Its calculations are not a substitute for qualified mechanical advice, equipment inspection, event rules, or your own assessment of driving conditions. Keep independent records where loss of access or data would affect you.
Applicable law and disputes
Applicable law determines the parties' rights, obligations, and available remedies. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricts mandatory consumer protections. No exclusive court, arbitration requirement, or waiver of legal remedies is specified here.
Changes to these terms
